Out of all of our designated cultural immersions this trip, our Thai cooking class has by far been my favorite for a few key reasons. Firstly, Thai cuisine is absolutely incredible with such a rich array of spices and flavors. Secondly, I love to cook and being exposed to completely foreign styles and techniques challenged me to put aside what I knew formerly about cooking and try something new. Being able to see what actually goes into these dishes we've been thoroughly enjoying was an incredible experience that I'll cherish for a lifetime. I highly suggest that anyone who likes a challenge and loves trying dishes from foreign lands should contact myself or another member of our crew because we all received cook books with full instructions on how to re-create these delectable dishes!
