Good Morning - Friends and Readers in the States :)
I've been trying to upload some awesome pictures from the day but for some reason the WiFi isn't being my friend right now. Oh well, i'll paint you a picture of our day at the Abhaibhubejhr Hospital of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine. It started off pretty fragrant as we walked through the halls of the facility with the scent of lemongrass slightly overpowering the rest of the herbs (love it!). This hospital was a palace a long time ago and so as you can imagine, from seeing the temples last week, the architecture was amazing! Our day consisted of learning about natural medicine's and their properties, starting from seeing what products had been made for use and ending with the village they were harvested and dried at for distribution! I think this was one of my favorite days because this type of medicine isn't emphasized as much in the States, yet over here - they sell out of so many preparations because people in the community truly see benefits from using them! We ended our day at the Spa with healthy Thai Food, Smoothies and Matcha/Tumeric Latte's to fight the heat :)
Stay tuned for more this week...
Khop Khun Ka (thank you),
Seema
