Michael Caiazzo here. Let me tell you about our day at Chiang Mai University. First, we were introduced to some of the faculty of the College of Pharmacy. Next, we listened to them speak about the role of pharmacists in Thailand and the curriculum at their university. Some 6th year pharmacy student along with the faculty also took the time to ask us a lot of questions. They weren't just asking us questions to be polite, but I feel like they were legitimately asking us questions because they respected our opinions. Finally, we visited their pharmacy that they had near campus. They have a large staff of about 6 people at all times working in their pharmacies, and this is a big difference between the United States. Also, people can buy antibiotics and other drugs which usually require a prescription over the counter here. So let me know if you need any Augmentin! (just kidding)
