Today we visited both the Ram and Suanprung Hospital. This was very interesting because the establishments were vastly different. The Ram Hospital is a very modern hospital that can only be accessed via private insurance owners, which is very expensive. This place had up to date technology and also provided physical therapy, dental, and cosmetic work (see pictures below).
The Suanprung Hospital is a psychiatric facility and was a very eye opening experience because the students actually got to go into the various psychiatric wards. Unfortunately, I could not take photos for legal reasons. Anyways, between stops the students got to get Starbucks which was very refreshing (see picture). Definitely missing Dunkin' Donuts right about now but unfortunately only America runs on Dunkin' and Thailand does not.
