Today was a super fun and busy day. We started out by visiting a hospital, splitting up into 5 groups, and participating in patient rounds on various floors of the hospital. After that we grabbed a quick bite to eat and we found the coolest coffee shop. Someone turned their Toyota into a moving coffee shop and had it parked on the side of the road. That was super neat because all we hear of is "food" trucks, and never "coffee" trucks.
We then went to a Thai Traditional Medicine Center and got to partake in cupping and acupuncture therapy. Following this, the students were able to make their own device for treating muscle aches and pain. We were given various herbs and pooled them together to create what is known as a "Thai Lanna Herbal Massage Ball". The day concluded with some shopping and delicious food. The street food here is so yummy and so cheap!!
